Awakening the Heart of Spiritual Ecology and Celtic Christianity

Celtic Spirituality is an invitation to nourish your heart and soul, align with the natural rhythm inside yourself, and deepen your bond of kinship with the living Earth.

In the Celtic Christian heart, the themes of sacred landscape, belonging, friendship, creativity, and imagination are all interwoven together.

I facilitate retreats that are designed to offer you space to deepen your connection with the sacred presence inherent in all of creation, to whom we already and always belong.

Our culture is in the midst of a spiritual crisis. The old stories of hierarchy, separation, and human dominance are giving way to a new story of interbeing, belonging and interconnection.

This retreat is an invitation to cultivate the beauty of the heart through meditation/silence, prayer, dreamwork, poetry, talks, stories, and mindful awareness practices.

Together we create a circle of reverence, laughter, and ease where we have opportunities to share with one another and grow.

My work is not affiliated with any institution. Whether you’d describe yourself as being ‘spiritual but not religious’, or if you belong to a faith or spiritual background, and have respect for the essence of all the world’s blessed faith traditions, you are very warmly invited and welcome to join us.

Participant Reflections

I first met Lynda when I accepted an invitation to participate in a Celtic Christianity meditation and sharing circle. I knew instantly that here was a very special woman with whom, somehow, I already had a deep connection. Lynda shares her considerable understanding of spirituality with spacious gentleness, always wanting to hear what others wish to share. She lives deeply what she teaches and shares and this shines through her. I am deeply grateful to have met Lynda and to continue to share our anam cara connection.

I have been participating in a Celtic Christian Meditation Spirituality circle for over a year and a half which is gracefully led by Lynda. Words cannot express my utmost gratitude for this soul nourishing space, and for the circle of beautiful hearted friends who partake in this communion of Love. During each meditation gathering we drink from wisdom teachings that spring forth from many sacred wells. Lynda radiates presence, warmth, and luminous joy. She generates a welcoming and inclusive circular space, where we all feel warmly invited and welcome to share soulful dreams, and the innermost stirrings in our hearts. Many blessings are flowing into the earth, into humanity and into each of our hearts, through the beautiful participation, devotion, and contribution that everyone brings. I'm ever so grateful for this meditation circle of friends, and for the heart centred space Lynda nurtures.

Feeling richly blessed with much light and joy after our time spent awakening the heart to Spiritual Ecology and Celtic Christianity with Lynda in Spanish Point. Our venue was sacred ground indeed. Lynda gave us a warm welcome and the group immediately felt 'at home' with each other. I learned so much about appreciation, gratitude and cherishing Mother Earth, cultivating joy and carrying the Christ light. I hope to attend more of Lynda's events and will bring a few friends along next time. I booked a retreat that mentioned a seaside location and meditation, not realising that I would find so much more. Our retreat facilitator, Lynda Morrissey is an exceptional human being. No words could convey what a privilege it was to spend a day in the presence of her open heart. The warmth and genuineness of Lynda’s welcome and connection with us, the presence she embodies and the beauty inherent in all of her communications left me in no doubt of the Divine love and the interbeing-nature-of-everything, which she describes. The retreat day was filled with peace, ease, laughter and joy, spent in the companionship of like-minded individuals, who felt like soul friends. Following the retreat, I feel motivated in the direction of joy, trust, openness and hope. What I feel sure is that, if you have any curiosity as to your soul’s wellbeing and even more especially, if you have a kindred feeling with nature, then you will feel blessed to participate in any event she is facilitating. I simply cannot recommend Lynda highly enough.

I participated in an “Awakening the Celtic Christian and Spiritual Ecology Heart” online course with Lynda from the comfort of my own home, which was a huge benefit as I had knee replacement surgery with limited mobility. With the insights and tools I have learned and applied in my every day life, I am so content and have this inner peace within myself. Lynda is an exceptional person whose warmth, love and enthusiasm was contagious. Throughout the course she supported us, encouraged and allowed us plenty of time and space to grow and learn. We had plenty of laughter and fun too, and friendship with like-minded people. I enjoyed deepening my hearts connection to Spiritual Ecology, feeling how this is vital to our living. I am sincerely grateful I found this course, if you are like me and searching for that journey, consider doing a course with Lynda, your life will be enriched.
