Heart Centred Retreats

Awakening the Heart of Spiritual Ecology and Celtic Christianity

Celtic Spirituality is an invitation to nourish your heart and soul, return home to earth’s time, align with the natural rhythm inside yourself, and deepen your bond of kinship with the more than human universe.

In the Celtic Christian Spirituality heart, the themes of sacred landscape, belonging, friendship, creativity, and imagination are all interwoven together.

I facilitate 1:1 mentoring programmes, small group meditation circles, and retreats that are designed to offer you space to deepen your connection with the sacred presence in all of creation, to whom we already and always belong.

During out time together, you may discover yourself stepping into a reverent and contemplative flow, with lots of time to embrace the beauty of your essence, and nourish your heart with the ever flowing waters of Divine love.

Your retreat will be facilitated by one devotes her life to the contemplative journey, and to facilitating pathways to awaken hearts to return to the Great Conversation with our relatives in the more than human world.

This is a contemplative exploration, with a focus on direct experience, and the cultivation of the heart through meditation/silence/centering prayer, dreamwork, poetry, talks, stories, teaching, and heart centred mindful awareness walking practices.

Together we create a circle of reverence, laughter, and ease where we share with one another, and grow.

My work is not affiliated with any institution. Whether you’d describe yourself as being ‘spiritual but not religious’, or if you belong to a faith or spiritual background, and have respect for the essence of all the world’s blessed spiritual and religious traditions, you are very warmly invited and welcome.

About Yout Facilitator

Lynda Morrissey

Our culture is in the midst of a spiritual crisis. The old stories of hierarchy, separation, and human dominance are giving way to a new story of interbeing, belonging and interconnection.

I’m interested in exploring engaged forms of faith and mindful awareness as a spiritual response to the crises present in our world.

My spirituality is shaped by the Christian mystical tradition and Celtic Spirituality. For over a decade I have been living a contemplative life involving a committed rhythm of meditation, prayer, blessed sacraments, study, retreat and community action, balanced with a consultancy career in the human rights and humanitarian sector.

My contemplative journey started with John Main’s Christian Meditation, and in more recent years it has deepened with the Christian Prayer of the Heart and Centering Prayer. I facilitate Celtic Christian Spirituality meditation circles and retreats. Over the last 9 years I’ve been involved in interspiritual and interfaith work, most particularly Christian-Sufi dialogue.

I’m grateful to live in County Mayo, in the heart of Ireland’s wild beautiful landscape.
